SUMMARY:

This project seeks to improve the efficiency of sustainable food production by optimizing the use of nutrients in fish farming in biolocin in an integrated way to vegetable cultivation. It is intended to grow vegetables with the excess nutrients of the food and excrete of fish, thus optimizing the nutrients that would previously be unused. For the development of this project will be used tilapia-tilapia-nile vegetables that will be defined in a previous experiment. The vegetable will be grown in the water of the biofloco, which will be shared for vegetable and animal cultivation. The objectives of this project are: to evaluate the water quality parameters of the integrated biolocic cultivation system, to evaluate phytotechnical data of vegetables produced in an integrated way with different nile tilapia biomasses, to evaluate zootechnical data of Nile tilapia produced in an integrated way with vegetables. 500L tanks will be used to allocate fingerlings and gutters system to the vegetables. There will be three different treatments, where they will differ in densities 50, 100 and 200 of fingerlings per taque, so that the best animal and plant relationship for cultivation is established. Dissolved oxygen, temperature, water conductivity, ammonia concentration (NH3), nitrite (N-NO2), alkalinity (CaCO3), nitrate (N-NO3), orthophosphate (PO4), pH and total suspended solids (SST) will be measured for water quality control.
