SUMMARY:

International Migration is a complex and multifaceted phenomenon that has shaped the history of many nations around the world. Faced with this global movement, we will focus our attention on Brazil, where international migration has deep historical roots, going back to past centuries with the arrival of different groups, building the formation of the Brazilian people, securing miscegenation as a result of the myriad of ethnic groups. Currently Brazil has received, annually, thousands of international migrants, and in this index there is a significant presence of children, in line with this migratory movement is the municipality of Balneário Camboriú-SC, which according to the latest data released by INEP (2020), is the third in the state of Santa Catarina, with the highest number of enrolled international migrant children/students, behind only the capital Florianópolis and Joinville, while among the municipalities of Vale do Itajaí, Balneário Camboriú occupies the first place, being one total of 1,104 international migrant children/students enrolled. Thus, this research intends to discuss the reality of international child migration, understood as one of the several facets that concern contemporary childhood, which is expressed in a problem that involves this phenomenon in several dimensions, highlighting issues of a sociocultural and educational nature. . The guiding objective of this study is to analyze the processes of inclusion and reception of international migrant children/students in the public school network of the municipality in question, within the scope of public policies, guiding documents that regulate the Municipal Education Plan and the curricular proposal , as well as student, family and teacher representations, in this context we will weave discussions from the problematic; How does the municipal education network organize the distribution of educational opportunities to meet the demand of these students and guarantee their right to basic education, in order to make the inclusion process viable, in light of the main treaties and laws that govern international migration and the right to current basic educationMethodologically, this research is classified as qualitative with an analytical, descriptive and interpretative bias, according to the perspective of Stake (2011), to achieve the proposed objectives, documental and field research will be used as technical procedures, according to Lüdke and André (2015), the bibliographic survey will be developed from the State of Knowledge, using the repositories of the Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (BDTD) and the Database of Theses and Dissertations (CAPES) in order to reveal available productions on the topic under discussion, according to Morosini, Santos, Bittencourt, (2021). As for the data collection procedure, techniques will be used, such as a semi-structured questionnaire with teachers responsible for International Migrant Students/Children from the municipal education network of Balneário Camboriú, a semi-structured questionnaire with parents and/or guardians of Migrant Students/children International, press conference and/or conversation circle with international Migrant Students/Children. Seeking to broaden the meaning of the interview, we will approach conversation as a technique for a collective interview with children, as we understand the need to create a dynamic and flexible methodology, in which children can express themselves spontaneously, horizontalizing the research towards them, in agreement with Deleuze (2010); Maturana (1999); Ribeiro, Souza, Sampaio (2018).Child development is based on the theoretical foundation carried out from an analysis of language, culture and learning, according to Leontiev (2010), Luria ( 1991, 1992), Vigotski ( 2000 [2001]; 2008 and [2010] ). However, the framework that supports this research focuses on Dialectical Historical Materialism, believing that the method resides in the ability to go beyond the simple description of phenomena, as it allows understanding education in its historical and social context, where the contradiction of inclusion /exclusion of International Migrant Students/Children, do not represent a punctual aspect, isolated and disconnected from other factors, social, political and economic, but only a part of a whole
