SUMMARY:

Considering the recent debates on curricular changes in Basic Education and teacher training, it is observed that the relationship between the Common Curricular National Base (BNCC) and the Common National Base for the Training of Basic Education Teachers (BNCFP) needs to be better understood, which requires in-depth studies on the subject. Based on this understanding, the general objective was: To analyze the extent to which proposals for continuing education for teachers of Early Childhood Education within the municipalities of the microregion of Itajaí are impacted by the conception of training of the BNCC and BNC-training and what are their potential impacts on the conception of teacher training. Methodologically, the research is characterized by a qualitative approach, encompassing bibliographical studies, document analysis and field research. A literature review deals with the mapping and selection of research in the Catalog of Theses and Dissertations of CAPES and the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (BDTD), with a cut for analysis focusing on the south and southeast regions, given the recurrence of studies in these regions and because they are closer to the social and historical reality of the research object. The document analysis fell on Resolution CNE/CP No 2/2017, which establishes the BNCC; CNE/CP Resolution No. 1/2020, which establishes the BNC - Continuing Training; the municipal curriculum references for Early Childhood Education and the proposals for continuing education in the municipalities of Balneário Camboriú, Camboriú and Itapema, due to the geographic position of these municipalities and the feasibility of displacement for data generation. For field research, interviews are proposed with Early Childhood Education managers from the Municipal Departments of Education in these municipalities. The theoretical foundation is based on the theoretical-methodological contributions of Stephen Ball (2011, 2014, 2021) for understanding the policy formulation process as a continuous cycle and, in Dardot; Laval (2016, 2018), regarding the influence of neoliberalism on curriculum and educational policies. With regard to initial and continuing teacher education policies, in view of the recent counter-reforms, it is based, among other authors, on Bazzo; Scheibe (2020); Golden (2013, 2015); Frigotto (2010, 2015); Saviani (1994, 2008, 2011) and the positioning of ANPED and ANFOPE, considering the representativeness of these entities in the promotion of studies related to teacher education. Still supported by Kramer (2006); Campos (2012) to address the specificities of policies for Early Childhood Education. It is hoped that the results of the investigation can contribute to the reflection on the impacts of the BNCC and the BNC-teacher training on the continuing education aimed at Early Childhood Education teachers in the municipalities participating in the research.
