SUMMARY:

This research is part of the Graduate Program in Education (PPGE) of IFC Camboriú, line 1: Training processes and educational policies and has the general objective: to analyze how the stricto sensu training offered in the Master's Program in Education at IFC Camboriú impacts the construction of the teaching and/or professional identity(ies) of the graduates. The proposed specific objectives are: To discuss the training processes, continuing education and the construction of teacher and professional identity(ies); Identify how the graduates of the Master's Program in Education at IFC Campus Camboriú perceive the academic-scientific training made possible in the stricto sensu context; Understand the impacts of stricto sensu training in the processes of social insertion and in the construction of the teaching and/or professional identity(ies) based on the perception of the Program's graduates. The authors that support this research are: Almeida (2016), Bastos (2016), Belloni (1996), Bianchetti and Martins (2018), Demo (2015), Dias Sobrinho (2009), Dubar (2006), Fernandes, Hoepers and Albuquerque, (2014), Freire (2011), Leite et al (2020), Nóvoa (2013), Pimenta (1996), Rocha (2006), Saul (2002), Silva (2014; 2016), Tardif and Lessard (2005) ; 2012), Trevisol and Balsanello (2023), Vanzuita (2016; 2020), among others. Methodologically, this research will use a qualitative approach, of the descriptive and interpretative analytical type (LÜDKE; ANDRÉ, 2013), being carried out from a case study (ANDRÉ, 2005; 2013). For data collection, we carried out a semi-structured questionnaire that was sent to 37 graduates of the PPGE-IFC and 21 responses were returned (21/37). The analyzes will be performed using the content analysis technique (BARDIN, 2011; FRANCO, 2005). Among the expected results, the aim is to understand the impacts of stricto sensu training on the construction of the identity(s) of the teacher(s) and/or professional(s) of the graduates of the master's course in education at IFC Camboriú , considering the relevance of research as a formative principle (DEMO, 2005; VANZUITA, 2016; 2020). It is expected to contribute to the self-assessment processes of the PPGE-IFC, with the line of research and investigations in the field of education.
