SUMMARY:

This dissertation is linked to the Educational Processes and Inclusion Research Line, of the Graduate Program in Education, of the Federal Institute of Santa Catarina - Campus Camboriú. Bearing in mind the growing discussions around gender issues, this research proposes to analyze how the recommendations of multilateral organizations focused on gender influence the elaboration and implementation of educational policies in Latin America, specifically in Argentina, Brazil and Chile. The theme of gender issues was defined due to the oppression and silencing experienced by Latin American women and girls since the invasion and colonization of their countries and who, in addition to gender violence, still suffer from xenophobia, racism, among others. , as they are not within Eurocentric standards. Thus, the research is based on a qualitative, interpretative and analytical approach (STAKE, 2011), in which the data collection methodology used will be bibliographical and documental, where we will analyze documents referring to the recommendations of multilateral organizations: UN-Women , World Bank, Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) and United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), selected because they contain discussion cores and specific guidelines regarding the promotion of equality of gender. The theoretical line will consist of decolonial pedagogies, in the light of the authors Lugones (2014), Espinosa-Miñoso (2014), Walsh (2014), Quijano (2000; 2005), Maldonado-Torres (2018) and Mignolo (2008), as they demonstrate colonization as a mark of marginalization and dehumanization of colonized peoples, especially those socially considered minorities, such as women, is the focus of this research. We intend, based on the analysis of the selected documents, to understand the gender perspective present in the educational policies of the aforementioned countries, what are their proposals and actions to achieve gender equity in and through education.
