Faced with the pandemic caused by the Coronavirus and the suspension of face-to-face activities as a measure to prevent the spread of the virus, teachers had to reinvent themselves to continue classes remotely. Perceiving literacy as an essential and indispensable stage of education, and since this theme is still recent, the current project intends to investigate the challenges faced by the impacts of the pandemic in the pedagogical practice of the literacy teacher of the Municipal Education System of Lages.
The work will be elementary, with a mixed approach, using bibliographic and documentary technical procedures to achieve the descriptive and exploratory objectives (GIL, 2010). The literature will be reviewed based on scientific data and documentary research in ordinances, decrees, and communications, among others, circulated in the municipal system of Lages to understand the strategies and referrals during non-contact classes in the remote class period. The process used to carry out the research will be the interview (MINAYO, 2010) with an early years education sector representative to seek more information besides the documents. Will also be applied semi-structured questionnaire with effective teachers who acted as regents in literacy classes in the early years (1st and 2nd year) in the years 2020 and 2021, addressing questions about the teaching practices used and the challenges faced during this period. The data will be categorized later and analysed through the content analysis of Bardin (2016), based on the historical-cultural perspective of Vygotsky (2014), having as reference the conception of literacy writing, Soares (2004, 2020, 2021). The theoretical foundation will have as references the National Common Curriculum Base (BRAZIL, 2018) and the authors Saviani (2008, 2013), Libâneo (2008), Goulart, Gontijo and Ferreira (2017), Bordignon and Paim (2015), Souza (2021), Smolka (2017), Morais (2019), Borges (2019) among others that bring research contributions.
