SUMMARY:

This study arises from the uncertainties employed by the neoliberal public policies recently introduced in our country, from the 2016 coup, particularly regarding the High School Reform given by Law No. 13.415/17 and its implications. Methodologically, it is characterized as a research with a qualitative, descriptive-analytical approach, using bibliographical and documental analysis as a research tool, where the aim was to understand the object of study in its entirety in the inserted social reality, based on the policy cycle analysis method. by Ball (2016). The general objective of this study is to analyze to what extent the Base Curriculum of Secondary Education in the Territory of Santa Catarina (in)feasible the integral formation of youths. To achieve this general objective, we established specific objectives that guided the research to: a) Characterize the reform of Secondary Education from Law 13.415/17; b) To problematize the role of the curriculum in the formation of youths; c) Understand the structure and conception of the Basic Curriculum of Secondary Education in the Territory of Santa Catarina from its Structuring Axes of the curriculum; d) Discuss possible influences of the Basic Curriculum of Secondary Education in the Territory of Santa Catarina on the formation of youths. The main theoretical references are the authors Silva; May I; Martini (2020), Martini (2021); Thiesen (2021); Laval, Dardot (2016); Silva (2016); Carrano (2000). As a result, it is presented that the CBTCEM is an extension of the BNCC, through the instrumentation and fragmentation of the knowledge construction process, establishing the curriculum by areas of knowledge, and training itineraries, emphasizing the discipline "Project of Life” that takes responsibility for the role of the State, of society in the formation of youths, in this way, it conceives the school as a space to produce the profile of the workforce, in a marketing perspective. Thus, it is concluded that, in line with neoliberal public policies, CBTCEM meets business aspirations, distancing itself from the aspirations of youth as contemplated by the Curriculum Proposal of Santa Catarina and the various modalities of High School constituted until then.
