SUMMARY:

This research project consists of a state of knowledge about the use of historical-critical didactics, a method that emerges from historical-critical pedagogy, and has as general objective to analyze what has been produced in theses and dissertations on the application of historical-critical didactics. critique in subjects of the basic high school curriculum. It is linked to research line 2, educational processes and inclusion, of the Postgraduate Program in Education of the Federal Institute of Catarinense/Camboriú Campus. We take the texts by Galvão, Martins and Lavoura (2019) as a theoretical framework for understanding historical-critical didactics, and for understanding historical-critical pedagogy, texts by Saviani (1999, 2011, 2012 and 2013). As for the methodology of the state of knowledge, we approach Romanowski and Ens (2006), who provide us with a definition for this methodology, and Morosini, Kohls-Santos and Bittencourt (2021), who propose a scheme for carrying out this research. With regard to the epistemological conception that guides the writing of this text, we will use the dialectical method based on Rodriguez (2014) overlapping the content analysis technique of Bardin (2016). Preliminary results have shown a growth in the production of theses and dissertations related to historical-critical didactics in the last decade, but unevenly, with emphasis on the preponderance of productions from the state of São Paulo and also for a greater use of this didactic in discipline of sociology.
