The performance of a multidisciplinary team is important in the development of aspects related to education in its broadest sense. From this perspective this research, entitled "Multiprofessional Team at the Federal Institute of Santa Catarina: performance and contributions to the training process of teachers", developed in the line of research Training Processes and Educational Policies of the Graduate Program in Education (PPGE/IFC), has been carried out on the object multidisciplinary team and its performance and contributions to the training process of teachers, effective contribution of this study on the subject, especially at the Instituto Federal Catarinense - Campus Araquari. Thus, this work is conducted from the following problem question: how does the multidisciplinary team work, as well as their contributions at the Federal Institute of Santa Catarina (IFC) – Araquari campus for the training process of teachers? This question led to the listing as a general objective of analyzing the performance and contributions of the multidisciplinary team to the training process of teachers at IFC, Araquari campus. This study is anchored in the qualitative approach having as methodological procedure the elaboration of the State of Knowledge based on Morosini, Kohls-Santos and Bittencourt (2020). The study is also of an exploratory nature, as few studies with such an approach were found during the realization of the State of Knowledge. As for the data collection instrument, we considered the elaboration and application of a questionnaire containing open and closed questions, both for the multidisciplinary team and for the professors. The categories addressed concern: personal data to understand the interviewees' condition of origin; school trajectory to describe the transit of these professionals during the school trajectory; professional career and teaching experience, to design the construction of the professional profile of both the multidisciplinary team and the teachers. The open questions were designed to address both the performance and the contribution of the multidisciplinary team to the training process of teachers. In the introductory section, we contextualize the origin of the study and its personal, scientific and social relevance, presenting the theme and locus of the research; listing the objectives and the methodological path of the investigation. In the second section, we reveal the object approaches from the State of Knowledge composed of 9 (nine) works: 8 (eight) dissertations and 1 (one) thesis. With regard to the third section, we present the profile of the multidisciplinary team and the professors of the IFC - Araquari campus, based on personal data, school trajectory and professional career, obtained through the questionnaires. As theoretical contributions, we dialogued with researchers such as Dubar (2020) and Bourdieu (2008, 2014) seeking to list the concept of habitus, to reflect on the construction of the profile, professional socialization and professional career; with regard to the school trajectory, the discussion was thickened with the contributions of Freire (2014) in view of his reflections on the education format; in Nóvoa (2019), we sought to contribute to the debate about the professional career and teaching experience. The initial analyzes delimit the contributions of the work of the multidisciplinary team and indicate that some professionals are unaware of the work developed by this team on the Araquari campus. We emphasize that the performance of the multidisciplinary team in the school context can occur in different ways and at different times, with a view to contributing to the teaching and learning process in a broad way and with the training of teachers, in this research, specifically.
