SUMMARY:

This research project of the Masters in Education at PPGE/IFC Campus Camboriú is inserted in the research line 2) Educational processes and inclusion and aims to analyze the conception and implementation of gender issues, with a focus on feminisms, in the history classes of the years end of elementary school in the municipal school system of Itapema/SC. The hypotheses that generated the problem are as follows: history teachers have little knowledge about the subject; the controversy surrounding the work with gender relations causes teachers to avoid this issue; the didactic/pedagogical material does not promote (or does not promote) the discussion of the subject. To investigate and seek answers to the questions raised in this project, a qualitative research will be carried out, seeking through semi-structured interviews and documentary and bibliographic investigation the framework for content analysis. The analyzes corresponding to the gender theme will cover the studies of classical theorists in the area, such as: Louro, Pedro, Scott, Matos, among others, which allow a broader look at the theme.
